Weekend!!
I am so excited that it's the weekend!! I'll be in Boston for most of it which will be very fun. Last night, we had our quarter-finals tennis match. We ended up losing, but it was a very close match. Following the end of the tennis season is the school year! We still have another week before finals, but then it's all over for this year. I can't wait!
Goal for tomorrow: have fun in Boston (that shouldn't be a hard goal to achieve.)

Track Meet
I just watched part of a track meet at the High School and it was pretty cool. Track is arguably the coolest sport ever (which makes you wonder why I play tennis, even though that's a close second, well third only to soccer). I must also add that Molly did a really good job! So did everyone else.
Goal for tomorrow: do a good job watching the tennis match that will determine whether or not we make it to finals. (great goal, huh?) Though, if by chance it should rain, my back-up goal is to do a good job running in the rain with the tennis team.

Fire
Last night there was a huge fire in downtown Montpelier. Only one building was actually on fire, but from what I've heard the buildings around it have a lot of smoke damage. So that's too bad.
Goal for tomorrow: don't sleep in too late (I did that this morning and now I'll never be able to fall asleep.)

Memorial Day
I supposed I should save this title for when it's actually Memorial day, but oh well. Also because I don't have anything to say that relates to Memorial day other than that it's now a three day weekend as a result of it.
Summer is approaching quickly and I can't wait. Then again, before vacation can start, we have to have exams... But exam week is actually pretty fun.
This is totally unrelated, but interesting. So I'm sure you all heard about the Texas democrats who left Texas to avoid having to vote on a stupid bill the republicans were trying to pass. The republicans basically designed a redistricting bill that would pull in more rebulicans to the legislature and less democrats. So, the democrats ran off to Oklahoma so they wouldn't be able to vote on the bill. The republicans tried calling the State of Oklahoma to get the democrats back, but instead the Oklahoma legislature passed a bill congradulating the democrats. So I thought that was a pretty funny story.
Goal for tomorrow: have a lot of fun doing whatever I want (as opposed to school or homework)

Summery Weather
I'm assuming "summery" probably isn't a word, but it just describes the weather so perfectly. I hate thinking about homework on days like today because
a) it's so nice out that you're constantly distracted
b) you think you have a lot more time for your homework than you actually do because it stays light out so long
c) and lastly, who wants to do homework anyways?
Luckily for me, I don't actually have that much. So, I think I'll waste a little more time checking my email and talking online before actually starting my homework.
Goal for tomorrow: do well at the match

Busy Weekend
As you can probably tell from my title, I just had a really busy weekend! It all started on Friday, with the "flowing water field lab" field trip. We spent all day measuring the width, velocity and depth of a river. So that was a nice change from the usual school day.
Later that night, I went to watch the dance performance. Trina, Alice, Becky and Abra were all in it and they were awesome. So that was also fun.
The next day, I went to a tennis match in Harwood at 8:30. Our team won the match, so it was pretty exciting. Immediatly following that, I played tennis with Emmett, Tyler and Alice, which was also fun.
To conclude the day, I saw the Matrix: Reloaded at the big Essex theater. It was really good, and everyone should definetly see it.
Now, I'm just doing homework, or at least I will when I'm done updating. So that's all!
Goal for tomorrow: do a good job in the match

100
This is my 100th entry! How exciting! In fact, it's so exciting that I think this is all I will write for today, because everything else would be over-shadowed by the sheer greatness of the fact that I have done 100 entries.
Goal for tomorrow: have fun on the feild trip! (which I will update about tomorrow, if I have time between my various plans)

Permit Test
Today, it has been exactly two months from my birthday. I'm not just saying that to remind you of when my birthday is though, I'm saying it because I'm starting to think I should study for the permit test now. I don't want to wait too long to get my permit, because I want to start driving now. Though, before I can take the test, I really should study.
I just had a tennis match today against U32. It was a really good match overall. I played in an exhibition match and lost, but it was fun. It was the first time I'd ever played singles, so that was new.
Goal for tonight and tomorrow: study for permit test!!

Math Project
I just made the coolest math project. Actually, I finished it last night. It's a spiral staircase and it's seriously really cool. Also, today I had tennis practice. It was just a conditioning practice, and we ran from the High School to the Coop. Which, my Mom estimates is close to a mile one way. I impressed myself by running at a pretty good pace (almost) the whole way (minus the short period of time where I took a walking break).
Goal for tomorrow: do a good job in tennis match
Also, I thought I might add that the dance performance is this week! I'm very excited, I'm not in it this year, but I wil be attending! (thanks for picking up the tickets Trina)

Four Weeks
I can't believe it, there are only four more weeks of school (not including exam week.) So that is really exciting. I'm also excited, because I'm almost done with my math project. That's all that I really have to say today.
Goal for tomorrow: have fun.

Matches
I had a tennis match yesterday, today and I have one tomorrow! Yesterday, we won against North Country, but today we lost against Stowe. Stowe is a really strong team though, so we weren't disappointed. I didn't get a chance to update yesterday, due to the fact that I didn't return from our match until 9:30 and still had homework to do. Ok, well I've decided I'm tired of updating for today.
Goal for tomorrow: do a good job in my match and then have a good weekend!

Timed Mile
I just got back from tennis practice, where we had to run a timed mile. (Four laps around the track.) The last time I got was 9:40, but this time (two weeks later) I improved by 30 seconds. I ended up with a time of 9:10. My goal for the end of the season is to get to eight minutes. If I make a point of running everyday, I think I could do that.
I also took the mega-test in geology today and I didn't think it was that difficult. I don't like trying to guess how I did ahead of time incase I happen to be wrong, so I'll just have to wait and see.
Lastly, it turns out that we (MHS kids) only have five weeks of school left! Not including finals. So I am very excited because I plan on having an awesome summer. Part of which will be spent studying Ridley Sea Turtles in Costa Rica with Molly and Alice. The other part will be spent having an awesome time in Greece with a lot of my family and extended family. Lastly, I'll be spending the rest of summer mostly in Vermont, but probably often in MA. as well.
Goal for tomorrow: do a good job in my tennis match, assuming it doesn't rain. If it does happen to rain and the match is cancelled then run if we don't have practice, and do a good job in practice if we do.

Tired
I am utterly exhausted. Tennis wasn't particularly difficult today, but I did run harder than usual (my goal was to keep up with Emily, which I did. We were just jogging though so it wasn't too difficult). At the end of the running and footwork, we sprinted a short distance and I decided to sprint hard, so I was sort of winded by the end. That was all followed by a one and half hour practice which wasn't too difficult, but I was increasinly limited by my tiredness. Plus, I hadn't had a chance to eat or drink anything since lunch. Now, luckily for me, I get to study for a huge science test! Yay! I plan on going to bed early tonight so as not to be totally exhausted tomorrow.
Goal for tomorrow: run really hard at practice (since it's conditioning)

Last Game
We just had our last indoor soccer game today and we tied 4-4. It was a really good game. I think I did pretty well the first half, but I was pretty tired during the second half. Also, the other Montpelier team won their game 5-1, which was awesome. I think there are only five weeks of school left, which is really exciting. Other than that, not much is new here.
Goal for tomorrow: do a good job at tennis

Tyler's Birthday
First of all, as you can see by the title, it's Tyler's birthday. So happy birthday Tyler! Well, it's been almost two months since my 15th birthday and I still haven't gotten around to getting my permit. I should do that, but it requires actually reading the permit book. This weekend probably wouldn't be the weekend to do that considering that I have a mega-test in science on Tuesday. So, I have finally updated my page, after a long abscence of updates. I'll try to get back in the habit of updating!
Goal for tomorrow: do well in the last indoor soccer game.

Updates
I know, I haven't been updating lately. I have a very good reason though, and it's that I'm busy. I shall be updating tomorrow though. Tonight, it's to late to do an actual entry, but I figured I'd just let you know where I've been, because I know you're all desperate for more entries. :)
