Soccer Fun

Yesterday the varsity girls soccer team had an incredible game against Northfield. They beat them 2-1 in overtime, and it's the first time in the history of girls soccer at Montpelier that we've beat Northfield (we tied with them two years ago though). So it was pretty awesome. And today the boys team won 1-0 against Spaulding, which was very cool. In my game against Northfield, our team played the best they've played all season (even though we lost 5-3 and they were playing one man down). We switched the line up a bit, so instead of having two strikers and four in the back, we have three strikers and three in the back. I like this a lot (as a striker) because then a lot more people move up and we have a lot more chances to score. There were a lot more shots in this game than in our other ones. So I'm excited for our next game. Oh and also, my last soccer related comment, I have to ref a game for 3rd and 4th graders on Saturday and I'm nervous, cause I've never reffed before, but it'll be fun. That's all for now!
