Saranac

So before I become too busy with other stuff, I ought to update on my splendid weekend spent at Saranac Lake. Emmett and his family kindly invited me and some other of our friends to their camp at Saranac and it was very fun. I plan to post some pictures as soon as I figure out how to do so (count on tomorrow). Because I think the pictures will speak for themselves and there's no need for me to go over every little detail. But it was very fun. Also, Kate has returned from Governors Institute where she had a fabulous time and has been rattling off random facts about this and that which she learned during her stay there.

In other news, I saw Spiderman 2 tonight and I'll be perfectly honest, I was unimpressed. But before I tear into it, I will first say in it's defense that it is based on a comic book and it was exactly what I should have expected. I liked the first one, so maybe I just wasn't in the right mood to see Spiderman. I kind of got an overdose of comic book movies after seeing Xmen and a preview for Catwoman (all you need is a preview of Catwoman before you're sick of it. Okay, that was kind of harsh... then again whatever). Anyhow, I thought this movie was pretty ridiculous and I need to head to bed now, so I guess I'll just wrap up my comments by saying I don't plan on seeing the third one.
