Memorial Day

Happy memorial day all! Are you supposed to say happy memorial day? I'm not sure, I just thought I'd acknowledge the fact that I knew it was today. So I've just spent some time working on my global, and oh gosh darn, I just remembered I have a bio review sheet to fill out.... Well I'll get to that in a second. Anyways, I'm doing a project on Greece, and am looking in this book for information about Greek people and traditions, etc., so that I can then take the information, put it into bullet form and make a little booklet about Greece. Although, unfortunately for me, this book happens to be littered with all sorts of metaphors and fancy writing that make it rather difficult to rewrite into simple little bullets. Oh well though, such is life.

So I had a pretty nice weekend. Although as you can see, I didn't get around to reformatting my site at all, I swear I will sometime in the future. Although I did do a lot of other stuff. I rented a few movies this weekend: "Love Actually," "Anything Else," and "Kill Bill." I thought they were all good. I really liked Love Actually and Kill Bill. Anything Else (a Woody Allen movie) was alright. It was funny, but not fabulous. I started to get a semi cold though. I was coughing, my throat had that "I'm starting to get sick" feeling, and my stomach felt a bit uneasy. I quickly concluded however, that this cold was due to not doing anything all weekend. Because, I'll admit I did my fair share of sitting around. So I made a point today of getting out of the house. Adam, my mom and I went out to Buck Lake to check it out. Mom went swimming, and I threw rocks at a tree. Then mom and I got back and played a bit of tennis. Just hit the ball back and forth. So anyways, now I really must get going on this review sheet.
