Redesign

So Josh has just changed his site slightly, colorwise at least. That got me thinking that I should probably play around with the format of my site some. Spruce it up a bit. Well, since a lot of my friends will be gone this weekend, maybe I'll give it a try. Although, I will be very busy editing my new feature film. Alice, Sam and I began work this afternoon on our newest film, which is untitled as of yet. The project tells a totally original story, one untold by any film maker yet. It chronicles the trials and tribulations of being a teenager in this world. The plot goes as follows:

New, incredibly dorky girl, Janis arrives at a new school. Janis meets up with local popular girl, Kim. Kim bets her ex boyfriend Trent that he can't make Janis prom queen. Of course a make over occurs from there (we haven't filmed that part yet). But, we just thought this was a totally original plot that viewers could really identify with. Also, I feel incredibly lucky to be working with such respected actors.

I play the part of Janis. You may have seen me in such other movies as "The Hall of Doom," "Ballet Video For School," "Commercials For School," or "Random Singing/Dancing of 1997." I take all my work really seriously, because in all my films I'm really trying to get a message across to my viewers.

Alice plays the part of Kim, the popular girl. I'm really just so proud of her, she's so fantastic in that role. It's very difficult to play a character as complicated as Kim. There's a lot more to her than just being mean and popular....

The third and last actor I cast was Sam as the part of Trent (the popular guy and ex boyfriend of Kim). Sam really fit the part. I knew right away he was perfect. Sam also agreed to take on another role, that of Kim's weird friend who only appears in one scene.

Overall, I think this film will be a huge succcess. When people see it, I want them to think "wow, even dorks can get make overs and be prom queen for one day." That's really inspirational. Posted by lib at May 26, 2004 06:36 PM
