Wonderful News

Today is Jessie Plagge's birthday! I haven't talked to her in forever, but she is, or I guess was my favorite baby-sitter. She was always saying to Martha and I (while we watched cartoons on tv) "Come on guys, let's do something productive." Well today I did something productive....

I quit my job! After trying out the job for two days I decided it just was not for me. Mixed in with school, homework, tennis, tap, soccer, wanting to hang out with my friends and possibly being involved in Molly Tarter's play it was more than I wanted to deal with all at once. Not to mention that I wasn't crazy about the job in the first place. It was a little to job-ish for me, so I'm looking into other job options for the summer. I'm mainly hoping to get a job at the VINS summer camp. So it was a very stressful week making the realization that getting this job was a mistake, but it's all resolved now and in the future I'll be more careful before I make a commitment like that.

On another note, tomorrow's my birthday! Fun. And the next day is Myrto and Beth's birthdays, followed closely (on Thursday) by Aaron's birthday! Lots of March birthdays.

Speaking of March... When the discussion of favorite months comes up, I usually hear people say they hate March. This is always rather perplexing to me, because I think we all know March is an incredibly awesomely wonderful month. So earlier today, while talking to Emmett (FitzGerald), I came to the brilliant conclusion that people just have a love/hate relationship with March. They love to hate it. I know that everyone would dearly miss March if it were somehow miraculously eliminated from the year. But don't worry, that won't happen! So we can continue to (secretly) love March!
