Great Big Sea

So I'm sure you were all just dying for an explanation of my lack of updates recently. Well it just so happens that I've been actually very busy this week. I had my first indoor soccer game on Sunday and it was really fun. We won 7-1, Alice had a goal and I had an assist. Also, I was very pleased that I wasn't dying of tiredness. That was nice.

So that brings us to Monday. I had school then tap. Tap was a half hour longer though because we didn't have it last week. So that was alright.

Tuesday we all had to take the NSRE's because of the "No Child Left Behind Act." Sophmores had math on Tuesday and English on Wednesday. They were both incredibly easy. Tuesday night, I had my first day of work at Angeleno's. I'm not sure how much I like it yet, I'm thinking it's not really my thing. But, I'm going to stick with it for a while and see how it goes. Luckily I have the luxury of doing that because I'm not exactly in dire need of a job. It's mainly to give me something to do during the summer and have extra spending money. So we'll see.

Alright, well onto Wednesday. So we took the English NSRE and then went to a Great Big Sea concert, hence the title "Great Big Sea." It was at the Higher Ground which is a really cool place, I had never been there. Although unfortunately they're planning to tear it, and some other buildings around it down and put up some new dumb building. Obviously I'm not entirely clear on the details. But it was a very fun night.

So now what do you know, it's Thursday. I had tennis tonight and am now relaxing on the couch. I also just looked at the most recent photos of Sophers and she's looking very cute! I caught myself thinking for a moment that she looked kind of like baby Alison. Although, I realized that must just be because of the fact that they're both babies, because it wouldn't make much sense for them to look alike seeing as they aren't exactly blood related. So that fills you in on the events of the week. Maybe later I'll have something of substance to write about, but this is what you get for now. Posted by lib at March 11, 2004 08:27 PM
