And now for the more in depth look at my race. So we had to do two laps. My partner did one, I did one, then my partner again and finally me again. So my first lap went very well, except that the strap of my pole came loose. But other than that it was awesome. The second lap however...... Well first of all I had to use Greg's poles since my strap kept coming loose, and they were a little too long. That was alright though, but what was annoying was that some girl accidentally (she came up to me and apologized afterwards which was nice) skied over my pole so I lost it completely. So I ended up have to go back and get it, some guy handed it to me, but I swear to god it took FOREVER. Then I kept trying to pass this one girl, but everytime I came close the trail got way too narrow. Then I just got tired and slowed down. But it was still fun. I had a very good time.
Now, onto the last and most important topic.... My hair. As some of you may know, I had been growing my hair out for a while. But, I decided to get a slight change so I'm going tomorrow to get it cut. No, not short if that's what you're thinking. I'm not giving up on my goal to have long hair (haha, I know, what a great goal, huh?). But I'm just getting it changed slightly. And I'm doing that tomorrow, so I'm slightly nervous because I've grown accustomed to being able to put it all into an easy pony tail and now it will be different. But I've been trying to adapt Kara's attitude on hair (at least I think this is it, cause I remember talking to her about hair a long time ago) that it's just hair and it will grow back. Although I realize this is more of a fact thing than an attitude thing, but for anyone trying to resist the temptation to cut their hair it becomes more of an attitude thing. Anyways, I believe that concludes my shallow hair entry. So good job at the meet today Montpelier!
