Departing Reflections

As I pack up my little room after a delightful year of college, I have a few reflections.

1. Tape is too sticky: Kyra and I had great difficulty removing our tiny plastic hangers from the door, because of the once useful, now annoying, tape.

2. Friends are more fun than finals: With three finals all jammed into the end of my week here, I found it very difficult to study when I could instead lay around on the green with my dear friends (most of whom I won't see for months!).

3. There is not enough time in a day: enough said.

4. Giant, white vans are embarrassing: as my departure from college coincides perfectly with moving out of our house at home, my father had the idea of bringing up the moving van--one that, in my imagination, resembles a sniper, drug dealer van--to move my stuff. Yes, parents, I'm sure that sounds great to you. But it sounds horribly embarrassing to me. Please, must we highlight the fact that I'm an over-consuming American that can't fit all my stuff into a regular vehicle? But who's complaining?....

5. UVM is the happiest place on earth: yes Joshua, I can confirm the statement that dad loves quoting so much.

Alas, it is time to go home! Oh just kidding, I have another final.... EW.
