It's Almost Friday!!

Well, I guess my dad really knows me well. He sent me this article about Spears and her recent flop performance at the VMA's that has gained almost more attention for her apperance, big surprise. Dad said this article would spare me from having to write my own, and it's true, although it's really only inspired yet another rant. But, just read the article.

In completely unrelated and funny news, my dry school reading surprised me with a (probably) unintended hilarious line. Please read.. and tell me she didn't do write this on purpose:

"Recounting the plot of Jane Eyre is not recommended, but briefly summarizing the events of The Death of Felicity Taverner, by the less wel-known write Mary Butts, would be considered helpful (unless the audience were exclusively made up of Butts scholars)" (Keen, 83).

Okay, Butts scholars? It's funny. I know at least Martha and Josh are slightly amused. Well good, now that I've added to Mary Butts' lifetime regret of her name, I can move on.

I planned to end the entry at this point, but what the hell? Now that I've got your attention.... I think Greg Gerdell (high school ski team coach) would be very proud of Kate and me. Although we mysteriously lacked the ability to put forth effort or any physical abilities during the winter months of high school (there were vending machines that had to be tended to and candy that had to be eaten... plus we 'stretched' in the weight room...), we somehow have super fabulous running abilities now. We ran roughly four miles yesterday (partly because we missed the turn... and ran to South Burlington...) and today we could barely walk... but we went again! This time with Tyler who sprinted back and forth or randomly broke into dance... I guess our pace wasn't fast enough... But yes, it was fabulous. We looked like very typical, spoiled college students too, all three of us running with our iPods. Perhaps I'll do a post on that later... But for now, I must rest my tired legs. Farethewell!
