Wait, This Isn't Private?
The school recently became aware of and interested in the questionable contents of the "Myspace" sites that a lot of kids have. (Quick description: they're sort of like online profile type things where kids can post pictures and accept buddies and leaves comments, etc). So of course a lot of people (as has been a theme lately) are idiots and forget that on the internet, anyone can look at what you post! Of course you can create sites that require passwords, but no one does that for this kind of thing. Anyways, I thought
Julie had an amusing post on the topic, with even more amusing comments following.
Oh, and I'm getting my wisdom teeth out on Friday (eek!), so my entries may become a little more sparse for a time. (To tie it back into the Myspace scandals, that would be an example of information that is okay to post online. Sharing your illegal weekend activities, impersonating teachers? Not okay. Seriously).
