Sledding Adventures

I was just reading Josh's latest entry about his pleasant sled ride in the woods, and decided as a farewell entry (before I go to St. Lucia) I'd update about my recent sledding adventure! Since the snow finally decided to return I've been sledding twice. I went last night with a bunch of friends and it was fabulous. Except sledding is one of those things (like horseback riding, but not as extreme) that I'm slightly terrified of. Not so scared that I won't do it, but the kind of scared where you try to back out at the last minute. Aside from getting like pounds of snow flying in my face, it was awesome. And walking through the fields of Sabin's Pasture on the way back a few of my friends thought they would be able to tackle me into the snow, but what they forgot was that I happen to be incredibly strong, fabulously resistent to attacks, basically just unbeatable. So needless to say their efforts were useless (these events were loosely based on a true story... the unbeatable part may be a little less true than the rest).

Anyhoo, as much as I would like to go downhill skiing tomorrow, I'm afraid I'll be just too busy travelling to a warm beach in St. Lucia (haha, not that I'm trying to rub it in your face or anything). I would like to go skiing when I get back though. Oh and also I would like to watch the boys play off games, which would mean they'd have to win the three I'll be missing while away. Good luck!

Okay, one last really boring comment. Every time I say something like "they would have had to" or something like that, I always think of Spanish because we just learned how to do all those types of tenses. Yup, that was my random, boring note. Posted by lib at February 22, 2005 11:17 PM
