The Dictionary of Allen Rice

As a Valentines Day gift to all my readers, I thought I'd enlighten you with the newest words that enhance the vocabulary of my friends and I (okay, not all my friends, I think some of them would strongly deny ever using these words, but they slip them in every now and then). I ought to also take a moment to honor Alice and Kate, without whom these words would be meaningless.

Allen:

1) Can be used as an adjective to describe someone or something that is dorky. ex) "Oh my god, you are such an allen in that hat."

2) Used as a call to official Allen club members ex) "Allens, get over here."

3) Alice's nickname

Budface

1) A term of endearment to be used in a really whiny tone. ex) "Budface! Help me find my glove!"-Kate "Um, did you just call me buttface?"-Alice

It's Not That Bad

1) This must be said in a monotone, slightly high pitched and nasaly type of voice. Also, you won't get the full effect unless you raise your eyebrows and open your eyes really wide. Go ahead, try it, I know you want to. It was originated during Chemistry one day by Alice and myself.

Yuh-huh

1) This isn't a specifically Allen type word, but it annoys Emmett (FitzGerald) when you say it.

Ser Dog

1) It means "seriously, I know."

So now you've had a small sampling of our vocabulary. And Kate and Alice I hope you enjoyed me dedicating all this space to our jokes! Posted by lib at February 14, 2005 05:35 PM
