Spring In February

It's been shockingly warm these past few days, and while it isn't what I would expect of early February in Vermont, I can't complain. On the downside, the warm weather has been depleting our supply of snow here (though I'm not too worried, I'm sure it'll be around long enough for people to get really sick of it). This almost posed a problem today for the ski meet scheduled at Morse Farm, but we proceeded with it anyhow. I chose not to race (to the disappointment of many - you can thank Molly, I'm following in her footsteps, chuckle chuckle), those who did said despite bad trail conditions it was actually very pleasant. On top of that I have surprisingly little homework tonight! Now I must get back to rooting for UCONN (although I'm thinking they're going to lose to Syracuse, oh well).
