Left Out Of Family Fun
Well I must say, there's nothing that makes you love school more than sitting all by yourself in some rigid, wooden chair trying really hard to concentrate on railroads and industrialization but being constantly interuppted by the rest of your non school attending family sitting in the kitchen laughing and having a jolly old time. However, once it's just your parents left in the kitchen and you're sitting in the dining room, still working away at labor unions and Rockefeller and all that good stuff, then the new activity becomes eavsdropping. I'm not a complete dirtbag about it though, I let them know I'm doing it by periodically yelling in to them to speak up because I didn't hear that last thing they said. Sheesh, to think parents would even try to have their own private conversations. Just kidding though, I suppose parents are entitled have conversations without children asking "wait, why?" "who?" "what are we talking about?" every two seconds. But annoying family members (in a cute manner, so they can't really get mad) is half the fun of being in a family.
