Vacation So Far
I realize I have not updated in a while, which I can attribute to the fact that I have been very busy and just have not had the time. My vacation has been completely insane so far. What with getting up late, eating breakfast, going downstairs, maybe going back upstairs and letting the dog out. I really feel sorry for some of my friends though. I mean, their parents forced them to go to places like Puerto Rico, France and California! They must be bored out of their minds! They're stuck in those places, while I've been having the time of my life here. Just the other day in fact, I had one of the most memorable experiences of my young life! I was kicking the soccer ball around by myself in my back yard, and then to my surprise, the ball somehow rolled into Mrs. Martin's yard. I'm guessing my kick was just far too powerful. So I had to venture over there with the dog in tow and retrieve my escaped ball. But the excitement didn't end there! Oh no. My dog ran off and, being the deaf little creature she is, refused to come back! But worry not my friends, I saved the dog and we retreated safely into our yard.
Despite the sarcasm embedded in that first paragraph, I am having a nice, relaxed week off. I've been playing tennis and sewing and enjoying the excellent weather. And tomorrow I'm going to New York, which should be very fun. So that's all for now.
