Magic Sand

So my eldest sister, Melissa, is visiting this weekend, and with her she brought me a birthday present! She got me a beautiful pair of sandals which I love, and a terrific toy - Wonder Sand. Now, you might be thinking "well the title of this entry says it's Magic Sand" and the explanation for that can be found later on in the entry.

When I was little, there was a toy that was this magic sand that coudl stay dry even in the water and I really wanted it. Although, like many of the other super fun toys I desired as young child.... I never got it. So finally this weekend, Melissa got it for me.

After a long day on the computer and eating sugar on snow, I decided I needed some relax time to try out my Wonder Sand! So, Martha and I filled a bowl with water and poured in some of the Wonder Sand. But Martha kept calling it magic sand, so now I can't stop. It also came with a shovel and a rake, which are now referred to as a magic shovel and a magic rake. So anyways, we looked on the back of the box for some pointers as to what kind of fun we could have with the Magic Sand. It suggested we build a tower (and showed a picture of a bridge below), it also said we could build bridges (and showed a picture of a tower directly below). So, we proceeded to build plenty of bridge like towers, and tower likes bridges.

Although, we soon found out that if the sand could collect above the water and float around on top. Then we developed a technique to keep all the sand below the water. Although, once that was complete, Martha threatened to show my sand what it was like to be above water! Dun dun dunnn....

Finally, we tired of the magic sand and decided to put it away. So we used the spoon they provided us with and put it through the funnel back into the container. After a few scoops went into the container, I asked Martha if she thought it was okay to get water in the container. She thought it would be fine. So we put plenty of water and plenty of sand back into the container. Then, thanks to the water in the container, there was magically no room for the rest of the sand! So after a breif laughing fit, we gave up. Thus concludes the adventures of Wonder Sand, the toy that will provide you with minutes of extreme fun and a bunch of leftover sand!
