Southern Vermont

I have just returned from a lovely overnight spent in Arlington, Vermont. My sister, my parents and I ventured down yesterday to the West Mountain Inn in Arlington. Why you ask? Well, after a long winter work term, it is now time again for Martha to return to school.

Shortly after arriving at the Inn yesterday, my parents and I decided to wander around on the trails outside. I was skiing (classical) and my parents were snowshoeing (so as you may have guessed I got many breaks along the way waiting for them). Although, I have to mention that the trails were terrible, they weren't groomed at all. But it was nice to get some fresh air.

Then this morning we dropped Martha off at school. And once we got on the road headed home and had been on it for an hour we received a phone call from Martha. Turns out she left her backpack in our car and she needed it, so we met her halfway back to give it to her. But oh well, it happens.

And I realize I never filled you all in on how my vacation was. Well it was good and that's about all there is to say. So it's back to school for me too tomorrow. Posted by lib at February 22, 2004 03:13 PM
