Writing

I was just reading over my last and most recent entry when I noticed a huge mistake right away (it's been fixed so don't bother looking). Instead of saying "an anouncement telling students to make appointments," I said "an anouncement to being making appointments." Now, mind you, just last night I was getting compliments on my writing (something along the lines of "your writing's improved a lot, even if the content hasn't," haha, thanks Josh, Dad). During a day I manage to do a lot of writing, via long long emails (saying just about nothing), new entries on this site, and letters to people during fifth period written in beautiful cursive (okay, fifth period is reallllly boring), not to mention much time spent chatting online. Although I have gotten some comments on my emails in the past that would suggest to me that maybe I should pay more attention to what I'm writing, puncuation, spelling, all that. The example I'm thinking of, a comment courtesy of Melissa when talking about a friend of hers that was sick or something: "I could tell something was wrong when her emails started looking like Libby's." So thanks to the comments of my kind, loving family (sarcasim right there, if you weren't sure), I am going to make a concious effort to improve not only the quality of my writing, but the minor details such as spelling, puncuation, etc. (This entry doesn't count, because I realize I made about a hundred spelling errors, but you can just ignore those.)
