Bush
Well, in case you had any doubts, I would like to clarify that our current president is in fact a moron. I was just listening to the radio and they were talking about the space program. Bush said that by putting men back on the moon, it would signifigantly decrease cost in the future for space exploration (I don't recall the exact words). Another person mentioned that people have questioned whether or not we can afford to do this right now. Should that even be a question? No, we can't afford to do this, we're already in very deep trouble financially due to Iraq, Afganistan and various tax cuts for the wealthy. So it confuses me as to why they would even be considering this.
Not to mention the fact that it isn't really necessary to send people to the moon. It's expensive, semi-dangerous and there are other ways to explore space. And even if you did want to put people on the moon, I don't think that should be our first priority right now, or even our second. Some people are also saying that this is a political move to show people that he has visions for the future. I just hope that people will realize what a bad idea this is considering all the things the U.S. has to deal with already. So I guess my only hope is that the democrats will get to the polls and vote in the next election.
Please let me know if anything I said (regarding the space program, the current financial situation, etc) here is incorrect. Although this is mainly just my interpertation and opinion of the news I just heard on the radio.

the radio also said bush wanted to not only put another man on the moon by 2015( (i think that was the date) but from there send a man to mars, and from THERE explore "other worlds". how bout we fix our own first, mr. president
