Windmills
I thought I'd write about something kind of smart tonight. I was just sitting by the fire, listening to my Grandparents and my parents talk about a case my mom's working on. She's working to keep this guy from putting a bunch of windmills up in the North East Kingdom (is North East supposed to be one word? I'm not sure). So far, it sounds as if the case will end in her favor. I hope so, because I'm not crazy about the idea of windmills in Vermont. Because they're very tall, they have lights on them so it'd ruin the night sky, and plus there isn't consistent wind in Vermont anyways so they wouldn't be that reliable. The only four forms of generating power that I can think of are a) windmills, b) coal, c) hydro-electric or d) nuclear. From what I know, I think hydro-electric would make the most sense in Vermont. I think there are disadvantages with that as well, but out of the four, it seems like the best option.... Ok, I'm done with that subject now.
In sports news, my earlier prediction turned out to be true. The MHS football team lost 8-30 to U32. So that's too bad, but oh well. It was pretty chilly standing out there in the cold, I'm glad I wore my winter coat!
