I woke up at 6:45 today to get ready for soccer, which started at 8. The practice was a lot of fun today. Yesterday was fun, but not as much as today. Because today we played in little teams against eachother as opposed to the drills we did yesterday.

We were also informed that there will in fact be cuts. Due to the number of girls who want to play (65) the coach will have to cut some people because that's too many for three teams. Right now, unfortunately, it looks like this is bad news for the sophmores. Because there is a freshmen team, the freshman who don't get on jv will get on that team. Also, there are 28 people trying out for varsity, but only 18 spots, which means that 10 of the girls will be moved down to jv. That in turn, means that the sophmores who can't be on freshmen or varsity will have less of a chance to get on jv. Although of course, this is just what my friends and I have dicussed and we don't know how it will actually turn out.

On another note, I just watched "The Lizzie McGuire Movie," which I liked. I liked it because it was entertaining, because I like Hilary Duff (Lizzie McGuire) and because it was fun. So that was fun. I've also watched some of the video we have of our recent trip to Greece, and it's pretty good. So that's all for today. Posted by lib at August 19, 2003 12:12 PM
