Harvest Time

I took a walk yesterday to see what the pasture looked like. The pictures posted here tell the story. I hope the owners are getting a good return on the lumber, because the pasture is now a bit less attractive for development, I would think. They did manage to cut just about every tree on the place, although some in the northeast corner are still around. I think that is where they were talking about retaining a lot or two for themselves. There are also some around the old quarry as seen in the first two pictures. Progress.

Recipes

I have put up some recipes, mostly cookies, for your cooking pleasure. I hope this will provide an alternative to late night calls home from grown children who just have to know how to make some cookie they suddenly crave, Emmett.
