We are on the ice.

Just a short note to let you all know that we are at McMurdo and all is well. Have had a fine dinner ( a recurring theme as you will see when I get my laptop set up here and can load some posts that have been languishing), had a little stroll around and now thinking of sleep.

We have our in-brief at 9:30 tomorrow morning. Later Tom and I will hike up to Look-out Peak and survey the area. This is a small city , which has about 1300 people in it at the moment. Pictures to follow. Posted by chuck at November 12, 2003 01:27 AM | TrackBack

Adm. Chuck, The brew is bottled and patiently awaiting your truiumphant return. We'll swill it after the ticker-tape parade in your honor down Main Street...which hasn't happened since Adm Dewey returned from the Philippines in '98. (1898 that is). And I have only one question: When is the last time you changed your shorts ? Your pal, Jim Posted by: Jim Slinkman on December 2, 2003 10:49 AM
Why aren't you in the sun room? Why aren't we riding downtown for the paper. Where are my snausages? I forget where I am. I think I'll try a bark. Posted by: micque on November 13, 2003 01:44 PM
